Kill the tool stack, keep the mechanism

I stopped collecting tools last year.

Each new tool promised speed and added maintenance.

Now I keep the mechanism and swap the tool.

If a workflow breaks when a logo changes, it was fragile.

Simple mechanisms survive. Stacks do not.
